feature film: villa victoria (in development)        




when the aida learns she has a grandmother,
she sets out to find her  and discovers villa victoria: a home for retired circus performers.

after her parents’ divorce, aida moves to belgium with her mother— though she’d much rather have stayed in amsterdam. while unpacking, she stumbles upon a box of old photos and postcards belonging to her mother. to her surprise, she uncovers a long-hidden secret: she has a grandmother—one who once performed in the circus.

driven by curiosity, aida sets out on a journey and finds her long-lost grandmother in villa victoria, a  home unlike any other. behind each door lives a story of wonder and adventure, as the residents are all former circus performers. in their midst, aida discovers the sense of home she’s been missing.

but when villa victoria is threatened with closure, aida devises a bold plan to save it. along the way, she learns that a home can take on many shapes—and that sometimes, change is what brings us closer to who we truly are.

currently in development, villa victoria is a feature film for children from ages 7-12 years old.
